At Fashion Smith, sustainability is integrated into the way we design, source, and manufacture garments. Our focus is on building systems that reduce environmental impact, improve resource efficiency and support responsible growth.
Sustainability in garment manufacturing requires systems that operate consistently at scale, across every stage of production, and not just isolated initiatives. At Fashion Smith, our approach is centered on integrating responsible practices into daily operations, whether through energy usage, water management, material handling, or workforce conditions.
Every process, every decision, engineered to minimize our footprint.
Our facilities operate on a hybrid energy model that combines on-site solar power generation with grid electricity. Currently, 42% of our total energy consumption is supported by solar power. We are actively working towards achieving 100% solar-powered operations by the end of 2026.
Our facilities include a dedicated in-house laundry setup, which allows us to control water usage. All water used in production undergoes treatment within our in-house water treatment plant.
Currently, approximately 87% of fabric waste is repurposed into secondary products such as rugs, recycled textiles, utility items. Garments that do not meet internal quality benchmarks are redirected through structured donation channels.
Our people are the heart of everything we create. Their wellbeing is non-negotiable.
Work with Fashion Smith to develop garments through a process that prioritizes efficiency, consistency and responsible production practices.
